Our favorite room. Finished basement.

 We are closing on the 1st of July. I can't believe were about to be home owners. It's terrifyingly exciting. 

Zoo Day!

During lunch I randomly decided that Aria and I should go to the zoo. We had a great afternoon. Aria's favorite exhibit was definitely the walkway, or rather the giant rocks on the walkway.  She thought the animals were ok until she saw the fish and she thought the fish were fantastic. That is why we also have an aquarium membership. I enjoyed seeing the pandas, elephants and watching the lions roar. The roaring startled Aria but it was neat to hear. 

The kids farm was also a hit. Moo!

Fort McHenry Photo Shoot

We picnicked at Fort McHenry today and came across a grove of cherry trees in full bloom. What a great chance for an impromptu photo shoot. I guess these count as Aria's 2 year photos. There were a group of re-enactors filming and Imax film at the fort and during a break they taught a few onlookers, including Josh, how to shoot a canon.

 

Aria's 2nd Birthday!!!

The theme of her party was "carnival" based off of what she could eat - popcorn, chicken hot dogs and snow cones. Birthday parties are a lot more work than they look like but we had fun, especially Aria. She only halfway jumped into the duck pond. We had a great turn out too with around 25 guests. What a party!

Josh was the ring master. 

Lance went through balloon 101 last night so he could make things for the kids.
